About Fido's

Bone broth provides easily absorbable amino acids, collagen, glycosaminoglycans, minerals, and electrolytes. These compounds support various organs and bodily processes, and maintain healthy tissue, cartilage, skin, and joints.

Herbs and mushrooms have been used for thousands of years to support the health of both humans and animals. They contain biologically active compounds that positively affect dog physiology. Our herbal ingredients are backed by a growing body of modern scientific research that confirms the traditional uses of the plants and mushrooms.

Feeding & Storage

When the bone broth jars are unopened, it is best to store them in a cool, dry place. Once opened, the bone broths need to be refrigerated and used within 7 days.

Check for the expiration sticker on the bottom of your canister; your bone broth powder will last this long if stored in a dry, cool place. Once the bone broth powder has been mixed with water you must store it in the refrigerator and use within one week.

There are many ways to serve Fido's bone broths to your dog! They can be served with a meal or on their own. If serving with or topping a meal, we suggest gently warming the bone broth (not too hot) in a small saucepan. The bone broth can also be frozen in an ice cube tray and served as treats.

Our best by date is listed on the small, white rectangular sticker. Our bone broths are good before this date if left unopened and if the jar lid is still sealed. Always check your broth for any visual cues or scents that may indicate it has gone bad.

Process & Quality

Our bone broth is gently simmered at a low heat in small batches. We use filtered water and infuse organic whole herbs into our bone broths.

Our products are not certified organic, but we source our bones from farms with organic practices and all of our herbal ingredients are U.S.D.A. certified organic.

Our bone broths are third-party tested for nutrient quantity, collagen quantity, and lead.

Our bones are sourced from farms using regenerative agricultural practices and from cows living the entirety of their life on pasture. Learn more about Flying J Farm, one of the farm's we source from here.

Our herbs are sourced from U.S.D.A. certified organic farms and are tested for authenticity and safety.

Our bone broths for dogs are slow-simmered in small batches and may have slightly different physical characteristics from batch to batch. We follow rigorous quality control standards to ensure that each product meets certain criteria. However, due to the nature of our manufacturing process and the high-quality, natural ingredients, our bone broths may show slight variations in color and texture.
